Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
MENA Group Accounting Manager
to lead our accounting function across multiple markets. The ideal candidate will oversee all regional accounting activities, ensure financial accuracy and compliance, and drive process improvements across entities within the group. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the regional accounting team across MENA markets, ensuring operational excellence and accuracy.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
  • Supervise and ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
  • Consolidate and review financial statements for multiple entities in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory compliance requirements across regions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives, leveraging Odoo ERP for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance Operations, FP&A, and Leadership teams to provide strategic financial input.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • Professional qualification such as
    ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
    (part-qualified or certified).
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or regional management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of
    accounting principles, IFRS, and regional compliance requirements
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Odoo ERP
    and advanced proficiency in
    Microsoft Excel
    .
  • Proven track record in multi-entity or regional consolidation and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven, and growth-oriented environment.
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
