We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant Manager to join our Egypt office and oversee the financial operations of Tatal Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting, reporting, and taxation activities related to our Saudi entity, ensuring compliance with Saudi accounting standards and ZATCA regulations. This position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and coordination with the Saudi head office.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Managing Director.

Job Objectives

  • Manage all accounting and financial operations for Tatal Saudi Arabia from the Egypt office.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting, VAT, and corporate tax laws (ZATCA).
  • Maintain accurate books, financial statements, and reconciliations.
  • Support audits, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
  • Coordinate with the management team in Saudi Arabia for financial planning and control.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Handle full-cycle accounting for Tatal Saudi operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and balance sheets.
  • Ensure accurate recording of expenses, revenues, and cost allocations.
  • Manage payments to vendors and follow up on client collections.
  • Oversee all transactions to ensure compliance with Saudi Chart of Accounts and ZATCA e-Invoicing requirements.

Taxation and Compliance

  • Prepare and file ZATCA VAT returns, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax submissions.
  • Ensure all accounting practices align with Saudi regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with Saudi auditors, tax advisors, and government entities when required.
  • Stay updated on Saudi tax and accounting law changes and advise management accordingly.

Reporting and Budgeting

  • Prepare periodic management reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Provide management with insights on cost control and profitability improvements.

Audit and Controls

  • Support internal and external audits for Tatal Saudi operations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all financial transactions.
  • Maintain and enhance internal control processes to safeguard company assets.

Team Coordination

  • Collaborate with administrative and operational teams in Saudi Arabia.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and financial institutions as needed.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or SOCPA knowledge) is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior role.
  • Proven experience handling Saudi accounting and taxation (ZATCA) is mandatory.
  • Experience with e-Invoicing, VAT, and corporate tax filings in Saudi Arabia.
  • Familiarity with Saudi chart of accounts, zakat laws, and Saudi financial regulations.
  • Experience working with companies operating across KSA and Egypt is an advantage.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Saudi accounting and tax compliance.
  • Excellent proficiency in English and Arabic.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Self-driven with strong communication and coordination skills.
