Job Overview
As a Senior Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities across the retail, sports clubs, shopping malls, and new development sectors. This position involves conducting in-depth market research, engaging with stakeholders, and developing strategic initiatives that drive business expansion. You will collaborate closely with senior team members to build partnerships, negotiate lucrative deals, and enhance the company's presence in these key markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Identification:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients within the retail, sports clubs, and commercial development sectors. - Market Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer needs. - Proposal Development:
Assist in the creation of compelling business proposals, presentations, and financial models for prospective deals. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property developers, retail brands, and sports organizations. - Negotiation Support:
Support senior managers in negotiating and closing commercial deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives. - Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure cohesive business strategies. - Project Monitoring:
Oversee ongoing projects to ensure they meet commercial goals and timelines, adjusting strategies as necessary. - Performance Analysis:
Track and analyze the performance of partnerships and developments, providing recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within retail or commercial real estate.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
