Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt, for a Packaging Materials Procurement Section Head. The candidate will oversee the procurement of packaging materials, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective sourcing to meet production demands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Commerce, Business, Engineering, Packaging, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of procurement experience with at least 3 years focused on packaging materials in FMCG/food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic packaging, carton manufacturing, printing technologies, film structures, sealing performance, and food packaging standards.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiation, supplier development, and cost optimization.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo).
  • High level of integrity, analytical skills, and decision-making capability.
