Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Pricing Specialist based in Cairo, Egypt. The Pricing Specialist will analyze market trends, develop pricing strategies, and create pricing models. Responsibilities include evaluating the financial impact of pricing decisions, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to set competitive prices, and communicating with customers to address pricing inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Assign products to suppliers based on category, availability, and pricing history (measurable by the number of products categorized or assigned).
  • Measure achieved cost reductions or improved margins (%) from negotiations.
  • Prepare and send finalized pricing lists (track the number of lists or quotations submitted).
  • Track the number of changes, discounts, or resubmissions handled after initial submission.
  • Receive and review product pricing requests from the sales team.
  • Clean and structure product data into procurement-ready lists.
  • Follow up with account managers to obtain supplier responses.
  • Maintain clear records of supplier quotes and terms.
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers to improve margins.
  • Analyze supplier behavior to support negotiation strategies.
  • Monitor edits, discounts, or changes requested by sales or suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English & Arabic).
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Strong knowledge of dental products and the dental industry.
  • Knowledge of dental suppliers is preferable.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a results-oriented approach.
  • Background in sales or sales backend support is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple quotations simultaneously.
