Electrical Procurement Engineer
, you will support the procurement team in sourcing, evaluating, and securing electrical materials and equipment for major energy and construction projects. Guided by our ultimate goal of

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, BOQs, and material requirements to determine procurement needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs) to qualified vendors and review received quotations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct preliminary technical and commercial evaluations, prepare comparative statements, and coordinate clarifications with technical teams.
  • Prepare purchase orders based on site purchase requests and approved supplier offers.
  • Follow up on material delivery, logistics, and documentation to ensure timely project support.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and maintain vendor performance records.
  • Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and ethical practices.
  • Prepare and present periodic procurement reports to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within MEP or power generation projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical materials, systems, and market sources.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
  • Professional command of English.
