Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.

Job Description

As the GM Retail, you will oversee the overall operations of our retail stores in Cairo, Egypt. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the brand's image and standards. You will also manage a team of retail staff, overseeing their training and development to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and drive business growth.
  • Analyze sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • E nsure excellent customer service is provided at all times, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintain the brand's image and standards in all retail stores, upholding the company's reputation.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management, minimizing waste and maximizing sales.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of retail staff, empowering them to succeed in their roles.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to employees, driving personal and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns, leveraging local market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Monitor and manage store budgets and expenses, optimizing financial performance and achieving cost savings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities, informing strategic decision-making and driving business success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners, fostering strong business connections and driving mutual growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a culture of integrity and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the luxury retail industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, inspiring and motivating teams to excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Able to analyze data and make strategic decisions, driving business success and growth.
  • Familiarity with retail operations and inventory management, leveraging expertise to optimize business performance.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic required, with ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
