**Overview**:
The Office Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the import and export office, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves managing staff, coordinating logistics, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to improve processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Staff Management**:
- Supervise and mentor office staff, including performance reviews, training, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and termination procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- **Operations Oversight**:
- Coordinate import and export activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping arrangements.
- Manage office budgets and expenditures.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and activities.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- **Problem-Solving**:
- Identify and address operational challenges in a timely manner.
- Work with staff to resolve issues and find solutions.
- Escalate complex problems to senior management as needed.
- **Communication**:
- Foster effective communication within the office and across departments.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and government agencies.
- Maintain open communication channels with staff to encourage feedback and suggestions.

- Ensure adherence to import and export regulations and requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven track record of successful office management, preferably in the import and export industry.
- **Skills**: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in relevant software and technologies.
- **Personal Attributes**: Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
