Head of Sales

**Job Summary**:
Responsible for developing the business strategy for the assigned markets in line with overall Business Strategic Plan, executing the plan and overall P&L
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Create, develop and execute trade flows (supply plus demand side) for the following products:
- specialty and specialty / commodity packed fats
- ambient table margarine
- lexi bags and isotanks (crude and refined grades)
- specialised oils and fats-based animal feed fats
- oils and fats processing chemicals
- Identify and initiate contact with customers in the target territory in assigned geography.
- Mapping and understanding the entire route to market, from country of origin, all the way to the customers’ door.
- Develop a cost-efficient supply chain for packed fats from origin to destination encompassing container freight and landside logistics including road haulage and warehousing.
- Exploit SADC, COMESA and EU trade tariff zone agreements for packed fats opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the end users technical and product performance needs, so as to create technical and product performance value for them through facilitation with suppliers.
- Maintain and build relationships with customers to provide technical support,industry guidance and market intelligence.
- End-to-end contract management - from trade to receipt of sales proceeds.

**Work experience requirement**:
Regional Sales roles across few markets in assigned region in the FMCG industry for 8 plus years
**Qualification**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing or business related field
