Commercial Planning and Data Intelligence Manager

Job Purpose
Is to Handle and carry out all related commercial planning Data and information and its Reports, primarily assisting channels and trade marketing teams where she/he will be the custodian for of all commercial Data base and information’s for execution excellence developing a data driven b2c channel and customer management organization for growth. She/He will own and help Chevron Own the commercial Data.
- The scope is:
Commercial Planning, Data Intelligence, and IT for Sales
I.e.: Sales data base for All company, Distributors, customers, channels, products, Sales Planning, sales analysis and Reports for Sales-In &Sales-Out.
- Responsible for:
- B2C Sales Volume and Value planning, Systems, and data base through carrying out the following responsibilities:
- Identify and frame new opportunities for analysis through proactive engagement with channel heads and business leaders
- Use data analytics to deliver insights to assist in decision making
- Upper hand on sales automation system internally and at distributors, in terms of Data hierarchy, Data integrity, utilization, reporting’s and system design including coding and definitions of different customers, product SKUs. key partner with IT team.
- Sales-Out -Sales-In Daily, Monthly & Annual B2C Commercial Sales plans & Targets Setting and Splitting at all levels and dimensions and measures.
- Provide All regular daily monthly annually and Ad hock Sales analysis and actuals sales reports required.
- Main Role in Demand Forecasting cycle planning data and its KIPs Reporting within the S&OP processes. Updated Data Carrier and support predictions methodology.
- Setting up and monitor pricing, trade promotions and discounts on the system and at distributors systems at all dimensions and levels, audit and insure implementation
- Responsible for reporting Trade spend Breakdown /Structure by customer, channel, and SKU vs budget Monthly and By Product and Channel.
- Input into Pricing and setting different price lists by channel / customer on company system and sales automation systems at distributors, monthly and Ad hock.
- Customers programs gate keeper, planning ,audit and report customers results and rebates.
- Distributors and Sales Force performance KPI’s. Coverage Distribution Visibility Volumes.
- Distributor sales force Incentive KPIs calculation.
- Distribution and distributors Cost & Distributors claims review and audit for approvals, analyses and optimize.
- Close contact with Customer service for OTIF Level.
- Understand the business problem, data, build the model, evaluate and deploy
- Skills Required:
- Expert in Database Management -Collaboration - Good Communicator-Passion for high performance.
- Ability to turn data into value
- Demonstrated strong attention to details
- Strong consultative skills and business acumen.
- Data visualization skills
- Ability to code is preferred (Not a must)
- Preferred qualifications
- MS degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, data science, commercial study, computer engineering, programming or other related fields
- Experience with planning activities
- Leadership and teamwork qualities
- Depth experience in a related field
