Contract Administrator

**About The Role**:
- The Gleeds business in Africa has enjoyed much success and growth in recent year and we are looking to recruit a Contract Administrator with relevant experience in contracts management field for our latest project win in the North Coast area.**Responsibilities**:
- Administer the ongoing projects in compliance with the relevant contracts’ conditions.
- Participate in the tendering stage while reviewing the contracts conditions and recommend the best practices of the conditions with other involved parties.
- Ensure that contract administration procedures are implemented in accordance with the department’s procedures.
- Ensure that all changes to contracts are highlighted, properly implemented, and contractually recorded as per the client’s standards/ procedures.
- Recommend and/or assist with the recommended actions in case of conflicts and contractual issues.
- Moderate and attend meetings with the clients and other project’s parties.
- Ability to assess the contractors’ claims and verifying the relevant contractual notices.
- Ensure that the contractual obligations of the project’s parties are fulfilled.
- Administer the contract close-out procedures.
- Support in the commercial review and negotiations for the contract amendments/ changes.
**About You**:
**Experience and skills**:
- Holder of BSc. in engineering or construction management
- Eight to ten years of experience in a relevant field.
- Contract administration background is essential.
- CLAC certificate and experience in hospitality projects are a preferable but not mandated.
- Excellent attention to details, with the ability to find inconsistencies and errors.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
