**About The Role**:
As an **Accounting Sr. Executive **at Dsquares, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily financial operations of the company. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, as well as preparing and analyzing financial reports. In addition, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, and provide support in budgeting and financial planning.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Handling Merchants reconciliation and settlement.
- Handle monthly confirmations with merchants, in addition to all inquiries & disputes.
- Download the monthly reports from portal.
- Receiving merchants claims/invoices.
- Calculate commissions and transactions per client.
- Prepare the commissions sheet.
- Send communications regarding technical and non-technical issues related to merchants’ dues.
- Record the entries on SAP.
- Merchants aging.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposes.
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to merchants in a timely manner.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- General ledger preparation and analysis.

**Requirements**:
**Required Skills &Abilities**:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Tax Law in Egypt.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
