**Leadership and Management**
- Work closely with the CEO and Regional Business Development Leader for development/execution of Oman tactical plans that drive achievement of short and long-term business revenue and profitable goals;
- Embrace the Marsh operating principles and actively engage with colleagues to make Marsh to ‘Be the Best’ in Oman;
- Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers or influencers within prospects
- Ensure operations are fully aligned and adhering to local laws and regulations in co-ordination with Compliance team;
- Lead by example; must be credible and experienced and qualified himself, and reveals this experience through team-work;
- Establish good working relationships with senior levels within Marsh, Prospects, Clients, Insurance Markets, Regulators and high level business community leaders;
- Analyse people, process structures for appropriate utilization of systems and tools to improve efficiency.

- Work closely with the CEO in managing the financial goals of the organization in terms of
- Revenue growth

- Profitability
- Actively support the Anti Money Laundering Policy of Marsh and AML regulations in Oman;
- Senior role for the implementation of business development strategies and plans - structure, process and people.
- Strategic thinking skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
**Clients/ Industry relations**
- Understand the prospect universe, clients business and risk profile, developments, structure, financial position, politics, market position and aspirations
- Lead and manage efficient use of MarshForce in co-ordination with sales team.
- Know the prospect, client, particularly the senior decision makers. Build and maintain relationships with them
- Determine the client risk management needs and ensure the team is fully aware of their risk philosophy
- Ensure the effective planning, coordination, communication, delegation and motivation of the service team
- Keep up to date with market and technical developments
- Responding to client/prospect RFP (written and oral presentation)
- Identify and co-ordinate business development opportunities with Sales Team (revenue growth);Personally engage in support of team members’ pursuit of new/ expanded business/ helps to harness needed resources;

- Supervise to ensure that all Sales colleagues follow the Marsh Compliance policies and procedures;
- Follow the Marsh & McLennan Companies Code of Conduct (The Greater Good) guidelines in letter and spirit

- Other duties as may be required from time to time.
**Experience and Education**:

- At least 10 years of working experience in a sales position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment in the insurance industry
- A proven and successful ability to lead a group of sales personnel towards growth in enhanced sales volumes and enhanced revenue generation, while displaying exceptional leadership skills and confidence
- Extensive experience evaluating product/market situations and analyzing raw data and information, transforming it into actionable sales strategies and approaches
- Experience in managing Multi-Million Dollar New Business Revenue
- University Graduate (preferably with qualification in Insurance)
**Communication Skills**:

- Drafting reports and making presentations to prospects, clients, senior sales management and other stakeholders.
- Ability to tailor messages in relation to the audience at hand and to present even the most complex messages in clear, simple, digestible, and convincing terms. These skills must be excellent in both written and verbal form.
