**Introduction**
**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a Technical Sales Manager responsible for the Data & AI and Automation MEA Technical Hub Team, you will be part of a dynamic team working with customers, partners, Sales and Technical Sales Managers and Leaders in MEA to achieve the Software revenue targets. Focus will also include effective Sales and Technical Sales Accelerators to communicate IBM's value proposition. This role will be based in Cairo and being fully bilingual is essential.
Your work, and your team's work, will concentrate on supporting our top partners to win customers hearts, minds and commitment to Data & AI and Automation solutions on Hybrid Cloud Platforms. You will be responsible for collaborating with IBM and partners sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions. You and your team will deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts. You will support technical escalations, design solutions, and answer technical questions throughout the sales process in order to progress and close sales and develop partner/customer relationships. You and your team will assist the partners sales team with quantifying the value proposition of our solutions with clients.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
You will lead a team of Technical Sellers assigned to the entire IBM Data & AI and Automation portfolio. In this role you will foster customer engagement insuring a high level of customer satisfaction and trust in IBM technologies. You will build a highly skilled team where inclusion, teamwork, sharing, curiosity and learning are the foundation for growth.
Client satisfaction is critical to retaining and growing investment in our solutions. You will need to assign skilled and experienced Technical Sellers to situations where client satisfaction is at risk in a timely manner, and with the expectation that clients will transition to traditional support services for longer term success. Support of partners will be appropriate from time to time.
Development of talent covering will be critical to longer term success, and you will collaborate with local, and Worldwide teams to continuously enable your team. In addition, you should lead your team in adhering to IBM internal policies such as asset management, business conduct guidelines, security and others as required or introduced. You should ensure that activities required to support IBM’s processes are performed in a timely manner.
