The Market Access Associate Manager will be responsible for developing and coordinating the execution of market access, reimbursement and strategies to help in shaping Viatris operating environment in Egypt.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops pricing and reimbursement strategy (including pricing bands, launch order, etc.) for existing and launch products, and maintaining over time
- Develops and executes reimbursement support and patient assistance services to ensure patient access to products
- Leads the exploration for and evaluation of potential pricing and contracting strategies and their integration into business
- Reviews contracting opportunities for risk and compliance, from a financial and legal perspective.
- Encourages exploration of leading edge & novel marketing approaches that provide enhanced competitiveness to current and future brands
- Improves efficiency, effectiveness, profitability, and administration of contracting.
- Develops strategy for government payers, health plans, physician groups, medical centers, etc
- Creates “Patient Affordability Program” “Early Access Program” / tiered pricing models, comes up with business cases that enhance patient accessibility to medicine
- Communicates outcomes and pricing decisions with the payers and governments
- Generates data generation strategy, including value story and value dossier development
- Performs / Analyses health technology assessment
- Ensure the development and implementation of corporate affairs strategic and tactical plans to support Viatris’ objectives in alignment and coordination with cross functional teams
- Help to identify opportunity for Public-Private Partnerships, design and deliver programs that address patient access to quality generic medicines in assigned markets, and advance business goals
- Embed external environment assessment into strategic and operating plan development and execution.
- Manage pricing and access policy challenges and create mitigating strategies.
- Support developing and executing the corporate positioning and reputation for Viatris and its brands
- Coordinate with counterparts from business units, legal, commercial, medical and within corporate affairs and market access to ensure alignment across initiatives and issues.
- Engage with selected trade associations to advance key priorities in country.
- Ensure activities are in full compliance with Viatris policy and legal obligations.
- Is responsible of meeting HTA submissions requirements of private and public sectors

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficiency in English
- Engage internally and externally with key stakeholders to drive organizational interests and priorities
- Performance and program deliverables
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in market access, ,public affairs, corporate affairs
- Experience in pharmaceutical/ health care industry knowledge required.
- Experience in the Egypt market is required
- Ability to accomplish company goals in a matrix environment, ability to work cross functionally.
- Organization, prioritization and project management skills
- Innovative and process driven with regards to problem solving and results oriented.
