About This Job:
Oncology Senior Product Specialist is responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas Oncology portfolio on a National level having expertise in disease area and product knowledge. To ensure that promotional targets are realized by promoting the assigned Astellas Pharma products to HCPs, cross-functional medical teams and KEEs operating within the assigned key accounts based on Astellas. The Senior product specialist role supports products and advocates for evidence-based product differentiation and changes in medical practice.

Key Activities:

- Responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas oncology portfolio on a National level through effective territory management, expert disease area and product knowledge and through the building of strong relationships with HCPs and payer organizations.
- Ensue the Alignment with the access Team to Optimize the access opportunities inside the accounts and on a national level to maximize and facilitate the access in collaboration with Team.
- Develops scientific partnerships with Health Care Physician (HCP) and other community healthcare professionals and diverse healthcare decision makers to ensure the safe and effective use of Astellas marketed products
- Meet the assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned portfolio and geography.
- Delivers disease education programs and product information within assigned therapeutic area; advocates for evidence-based product differentiation and changes in medical practice, including guideline implementation
- Removes scientific barriers to enable the sales organization to effectively promote Astellas products

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

- Substantial experience in a direct field sales role working with a Global Multinational Pharma organization in Egypt.
- Preferably knowledgeable within Oncology or have experience in any other Specialty Care.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to influence and work effectively within a matrix and multi-cultural environment

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

- Experience managing both private and government sector would be highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint in particular)
- Fluency in English and Arabic both written and spoken.

Educations/Qualifications:

- Bachelor in Pharmacy or equivalent

Additional information:

- This is a permanent, full-time position
- The position is based in Cairo, Egypt
- This position is field-based in Cairo and 30% of travel is expected in line with your role
