**About This Job**:
Oncology Senior Product Specialist is responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas Oncology portfolio on a National level having expertise in disease area and product knowledge. To ensure that promotional targets are realized by promoting the assigned Astellas Pharma products to HCPs, cross-functional medical teams and KEEs operating within the assigned key accounts based on Astellas. The Senior product specialist role supports products and advocates for evidence-based product differentiation and changes in medical practice.
**Key Activities**:
Responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas oncology portfolio on a National level through effective territory management, expert disease area and product knowledge and through the building of strong relationships with HCPs and payer organizations.
Ensue the Alignment with the access Team to Optimize the access opportunities inside the accounts and on a national level to maximize and facilitate the access in collaboration with Team.
Develops scientific partnerships with Health Care Physician (HCP) and other community healthcare professionals and diverse healthcare decision makers to ensure the safe and effective use of Astellas marketed products
Meet the assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned portfolio and geography.
Delivers disease education programs and product information within assigned therapeutic area; advocates for evidence-based product differentiation and changes in medical practice, including guideline implementation
Removes scientific barriers to enable the sales organization to effectively promote Astellas products
**Essential Knowledge & Experience**:
Substantial experience in a direct field sales role working with a Global Multinational Pharma organization in Egypt.
Preferably knowledgeable within Oncology or have experience in any other Specialty Care.
Excellent communication & presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to influence and work effectively within a matrix and multi-cultural environment
**Preferred Knowledge & Experience**:
Experience managing both private and government sector would be highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint in particular)
Fluency in English and Arabic both written and spoken.
**Educations/Qualifications**:
Bachelor in Pharmacy or equivalent
**Additional information**:
This is a permanent, full-time position
The position is based in Cairo, Egypt
This position is field-based in Cairo and 30% of travel is expected in line with your role
