Today, we are recruiting for the **Senior **Document Controller **position to Join our Project Team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for Document Control Professionals from Rail /Transportation Business looking to join a truly international team.
**What are my responsibilities?**
- Develop and maintain document management policies and procedures: Create guidelines for the creation, review, approval, distribution, and retention of documents, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Manage document control processes: Oversee the processes for managing documents throughout their lifecycle, including revision control, versioning, and archival.
- Develop and implement document templates: Create standardized document templates that ensure consistency across documents and facilitate the efficient creation of new documents.
- Set up and maintenance of the project environment in the electronic document management system (data ownership, folder structure, roles, and rights, storage/classification criteria) in cooperation with the project manager and any further interface partners.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documents: Ensure that all documents are accurate complete and meet organizational standards and requirements.
- Facilitate document review and approval processes: Oversee the processes for document review and approval, including managing workflows, deadlines, and notifications.
- Maintain document libraries and databases: Establish and maintain systems for storing,
- organizing, and retrieving documents, ensuring easy access for authorized personnel
- Train employees on document management processes: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on document management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that documents are created and managed in accordance with organizational needs and standards.
- Training: Train employees on how to create, manage, and maintain documentation, including best practices for organization and version control.
- Communication: Work with stakeholders to ensure that documentation is communicated effectively across the organization and that everyone is aware of where to find the latest versions.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation is aligned with organizational goals, policies, and procedures
- Ability to make regular visits to Projects sites in different governorates.
**What do I need to qualify for this job?**
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience as a Document Controller.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communicator.
- People Management experience.
- Independent and structured approach to work.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
