Service Delivery Manager

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members in the successful implementation, configuration, and administration of operating systems, Oracle databases and application servers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, system architects, and business analysts, to define project requirements, develop project maintenance plans, and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including procurement and contract management, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and delivery of quality services and products.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and contribute to issue tracking, resolution & root-cause analysis guidelines
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, security protocols, and governance standards throughout the duration of the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with at least 4 years in a similar leadership position (technical manager/technical lead) and at least 10 years of experience in system engineering field
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Linux operating system, application servers, web servers, load balancers & database.
  • Proven understanding of system and deployment models, database architectures, operating system concepts, software architecture concepts, storage and file-system concepts, etc.
  • Deep understanding of platform, application and network security concepts and methods.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of change management process, and reduce human error risks by leveraging automation
  • Proven experience in automation using scripting/programming languages on both Linux and Windows systems
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
