Our client aim to make healthcare easy for their customers in providing quality services which meet their needs.
In the heart of the support activities, the IT department, provides support to two subsidiary. Given the increased focus on data, advanced analytics and machine learning and the need to build the technical foundation that will support the organisation, we are today looking to recruit a IT Data Engineer able to coach a team for the Application Support.

Your responsabilities
  • Influence the development of overall data platform objectives and long-range goals
  • Lead the design, development, and operation of world-class cloud-native data platform for a wide range of business and research applications
  • Collaborating with engineering and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Lead the coordination and communication of project lifecycle from ideation, design, development, deployment, operations, and decommissioning
  • Create and implement a technical strategy to enable the infrastructure to scale to larger teams
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to remove barriers to the adoption of innovative solutions and best data engineering practices and improve development, research, and analytics velocity
  • Lead and review designs of major software components, systems, and features, working closely with privacy and security stakeholders to ensure compliance
  • Develop and lead a team of data platform engineers to deliver high-performance, secure and compliant solutions
  • Build and manage data infrastructure, security, quality, compliance, and governance
  • Design and ship new disruptive data products and features to meet rapidly changing business needs
  • Responsible for data platform team's performance by providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching to team members, including identification and implementation of software development processes that enable the team to improve the design, implementation, test, deployment continuously, and maintenance of the infrastructure

The ideal profile will have :

  • 5+ years' experience in a fast-paced software development environment with strong communication skills and desire to coach
  • Proven expertise in data-driven critical thinking problem-solving
  • Ability to debug systems of software and people
  • Demonstrated ability to write high-quality, production-ready code (readable, well-tested, with well-designed APIs)
  • Demonstrated passion for innovation with an ability to work within agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with infrastructure orchestration and automation tools
  • Proven track record of building data solutions on AWS using cloud-native technologies
  • Proven track record of developing highly automated and documented solutions
  • Proven experience in the design and implementation of modern data lake/warehouse architecture
  • Experience with health and medical data is a big plus but not required
  • Experience with Docker deployments to enable reproducible builds of applications across different environments including production, testing, and continuous integration environments

Vos responsabilités

  • Influencer le développement des objectifs globaux de la plateforme de données et des objectifs à long terme.
  • Diriger la conception, le développement et l'exploitation d'une plateforme de données cloud-native de classe mondiale pour un large éventail d'applications commerciales et de recherche.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d'ingénierie et d'affaires pour comprendre les exigences et les traduire en solutions techniques.
  • Diriger la coordination et la communication du cycle de vie du projet, depuis l'idéation, la conception, le développement, le déploiement, l'exploitation et le déclassement.
  • Créer et mettre en œuvre une stratégie technique pour permettre à l'infrastructure de s'adapter à des équipes plus importantes.
  • Établir des relations avec les parties prenantes afin d'éliminer les obstacles à l'adoption de solutions innovantes et de meilleures pratiques d'ingénierie des données et d'améliorer la vitesse de développement, de recherche et d'analyse.
  • Diriger et réviser la conception des principaux composants, systèmes et fonctionnalités des logiciels, en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les parties prenantes en matière de confidentialité et de sécurité pour garantir la conformité.
  • Développer et diriger une équipe d'ingénieurs de plate-forme de données pour fournir des solutions performantes, sécurisées et conformes.
  • Construire et gérer l'infrastructure, la sécurité, la qualité, la conformité et la gouvernance des données.
  • Concevoir et expédier de nouveaux produits de données et de nouvelles fonctionnalités pour répondre à l'évolution rapide des besoins de l'entreprise.
  • Responsable de la performance de l'équipe de la plateforme de données en assurant le leadership, le mentorat et le coaching des membres de l'équipe, y compris l'identification et la mise en œuvre de processus de développement de logiciels qui permettent à l'équipe d'améliorer la conception, la mise en œuvre, le test, le déploiement continu et la maintenance de l'infrastructure.

Vos atouts

  • 5+ ans d'expérience dans un environnement de développement de logiciels à rythme rapide, avec de solides compétences en communication et le désir d'encadrer.
  • Expertise avérée en matière de résolution de problèmes par la pensée critique axée sur les données
  • Capacité à déboguer des systèmes de logiciels et de personnes
  • Capacité avérée à écrire du code de haute qualité, prêt pour la production (lisible, bien testé, avec des API bien conçues).
  • Passion avérée pour l'innovation et capacité à travailler dans le cadre de méthodologies de développement logiciel agiles.
  • Expérience des outils d'orchestration et d'automatisation de l'infrastructure
  • Expérience avérée dans l'élaboration de solutions de données sur AWS à l'aide de technologies "cloud-native".
  • Expérience avérée dans le développement de solutions hautement automatisées et documentées.
  • Expérience avérée dans la conception et la mise en œuvre d'une architecture moderne de lac de données/entrepôt.
  • L'expérience avec les données de santé et médicales est un gros plus mais n'est pas obligatoire.
  • Expérience avec les déploiements Docker pour permettre des constructions reproductibles d'applications dans différents environnements, y compris les environnements de production, de test et d'intégration continue.
