**Sponsorship Specialist, Egypt**

**Purpose of the Job**

The Sponsorship Specialist holds a critical role in the Development and Donor Relations Department. Responsible for implementing key sponsorship components, the role focuses on strengthening relationships between sponsors and children, managing ongoing correspondence, gift distribution, and visits. Additionally, the Specialist serves as the primary contact for Coptic Orphans' sponsors and donors in Egypt and some international regions, providing donor relations services and system support through the organization's customer relations management platform. Reporting to the Sponsorship Manager, the Sponsorship Specialist ensures smooth and efficient communication between the organization and sponsors while upholding high service standards

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
- ** Sponsorship Components' Management**:While ensuring effective coordination between the field staff and the Donor Relations abroad, and following the Organization's Sponsorship policies and procedures, the Sponsorship Specialist is responsible for:

- Coordinating sponsor visits to their sponsored children in Egypt, offering necessary support and translation as required.
- Handling communication of field updates to the respective country office and respond promptly to sponsors' inquiries about their sponsored children.
- Ensuring the timely delivery of quality letters between sponsors and children by coordinating with the stakeholders including the Data Processing and the Program's teams.
- Tracking and ensuring the delivery of gifts to the designated children.
- ** CRM System Records Maintenance**: Update and maintain sponsor records on the system, documenting all sponsorship-related activities and communications.
- ** Sponsorship Special Projects**: Assist in projects promoting the organization's sponsorship program, such as developing newsletters, videos, and utilizing platforms like Coptic Orphans' Website, and Sponsors Portal..etc.
- Perform other relevant tasks and functions as required by the direct manager.

**Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Public relations and/or related field
- At least 3 years work experience
- Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented with excellent follow up skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
- Persuasive, polished and articulate communicator; must be comfortable, confident and courteous on the telephone with stakeholders
- Experience with database or contact management software like Salesforce is a plus.
- Excellent command of the English and Arabic languages, written and spoken
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

**Travel and Working requirements**
- Typical office environment such as walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment, and occasional lifting of boxes or luggage during travel
- Local travels for sponsors' visits are required across Egypt's governorates whenever needed
- Working out of the official hours and on weekends may be required
