As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage our finances and help us make smart decisions for the future.

**About the Role**: We're seeking a hands-on Accountant/Bookkeeper to be the financial backbone of our small but busy operation. You'll handle the day-to-day money matters, ensure our books are accurate, manage payroll, and provide key insights to help us understand our profitability and grow our business. This isn't just about crunching numbers; it's about helping us thrive

**What You'll Do**:

- **Keep Our Books Tidy**: Handle daily bookkeeping, including recording sales, purchases, and expenses.
- **Manage Money In & Out**: Process accounts payable (bills) and accounts receivable (money owed to us), and reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- **Handle Payroll**: Ensure our team gets paid accurately and on time, including managing payroll taxes.
- **Prepare Reports**: Create essential financial reports like Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets so we know how we're doing.
- **Sales Tax Expert**: Accurately prepare and file sales tax returns for our products.
- **Track Job Costs**: Help us understand the true cost of each screen printing and embroidery job (materials, labor, etc.) to ensure we're pricing correctly.
- **Find Ways to Grow**: Look at our financial data and suggest ways to save money, improve efficiency, and boost our profits.
- Work closely with the owner to provide financial insights and support business decisions.

**What We're Looking For**:

- **Experience**: 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business, manufacturing, retail, or product-based environment. Experience with job costing is a big plus
- **QuickBooks Pro**: Must be proficient with **QuickBooks Online or Desktop**.
- **Sharp & Detail-Oriented**: You have a keen eye for accuracy and don't let details slip through the cracks.
- **Clear Communicator**: You can explain financial information in simple terms that anyone can understand.
- **Proactive Problem-Solver**: You're not afraid to dig into issues and suggest solutions.
- **Trustworthy**: You'll be handling sensitive financial information, so integrity is key.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus, but not required if you have solid experience.
