**About the Role**:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Finance Assistant** to support our Assistant Controller with day-to-day financial operations. This remote role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance and advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**. You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting routine accounting tasks that keep our operations running smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support daily accounting and finance operations
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis
- Maintain organized records and update spreadsheets and internal systems
- Perform data entry, invoice tracking, and vendor/customer account maintenance
- Provide administrative support and handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Assistant Controller

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting**, **Finance**, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant finance/accounting experience preferred
- Strong command of **Microsoft Excel** (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Experience working in a remote finance or accounting role
- Understanding of basic financial reporting and reconciliation processes
