Job Purpose:

Support the Finance team at Beltone SMEs in financial analysis, reporting, and operational tasks, assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial data management. The intern will gain exposure to financial operations within the SME sector and build a strong foundation for a career in finance and accounting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering financial data and performing basic analysis.
  • Help reconcile accounts, track financial transactions, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the team in monitoring and analyzing key financial metrics for Beltone SMEs to ensure financial health and growth.
  • Help maintain financial databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with invoicing, payments, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Provide administrative support for financial audits and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for business decision-making.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting basics, and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
