**The Sales Manager will be responsible for business/accounts (end-users and EPCs) strategic to Emerson's Systems & Software Business Unit in Egypt. We are looking for so **meone who is adept at maintaining and cultivating key relationships and business/project activity within country accounts and will take this on as a first priority. If you feel you have the required experience and exposure, we would love to welcome you in this elite team**
**What will be my primary responsibilities in this role**:
- Lead divisional sales & business development initiatives in Egypt, Libya and Sudan
- Meet or exceed territory financial objectives required in support of the Systems & Software MEA business plan
- Actively support the selection and development of the right local partners, in consultation with Systems & Software Management, to increase the project footprint in Egypt
- Develop and implement sales strategies for projects. Maintain an accurate project pursuit list and provide monthly reports and forecasts to divisional Sales & Marketing Directors in CRM
- Take a pro-active role in working with the Emerson Global Project Pursuit Team representative to identify, qualify and pursue control system projects to achieve order conversion and improve the potential for all Emerson Automation Solutions products and services.
- Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of Emerson Automation Solutions.
- Profile accounts and establish a clear understanding of business drivers and process control requirements.
- Enhance revenue and profit from the existing installed base.
**What do I need to qualify for this role**:
- Engineering Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation or Automation
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience within the process control and automation industry selling in the oil and gas vertical
- A minimum of 10 Years’ experience in a sales position with a reliable track record of success
- Multinational company experience
