You will be working as Workshop Manager, will be the part of Motion business area for Service Division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Service Manager and will be ensure efficient and cost-effective repair results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and repair processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs and proper productivity level) primary responsibilities include day to day operation and management of the Repair Center, service inventory control also oversight of the 3rd party logistics company for shipping, receiving, and warehousing. Direct reports include repair technicians and shipping/receiving coordinator using his discipline technical & leadership experience in servicing electrical rotating machines to run the electrical workshop activities, define the work priorities and the competences of his staff, maximizing the utilization of the assets and ensuring prompt delivery of machines service and help customers to run/repair/replace their machines and support that with full range of quality services on the workshop as well the different sites.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Implementing all ABB Machines service repair & FS techniques / products in QA - Control the day-to-day operation in the workshop using advanced techniques and workshop management system, managing, organizing, controlling and motivating service team to achieve objectives Optimize the workflow and maximize the utilization of the assets
- Ensuring that the workshop staff are being optimally utilized, quality, standard and safety concepts are fulfilled, responsible and accountable of all Service activities inside the workshop and on the different sites
- Coordinating major service decisions with the PG manager, assuring fast response to customers inquiries (24/7 support), providing day-to-day provision (Technical & Administrative) of Staff of service engineers and technicians, selecting, developing, monitoring, training and supporting service team to the caliber necessary to meet the current and long-term needs of the company
- Supporting service team in technical problems by playing a connecting point with the ABB global service centers / global technical support to ensure high quality, customer service
- Directing and controlling purchases of the SERVICE tools and equipment, assessing proposals for purchases of new equipment and to refer to top levels for approval on capital expenditures, controlling the spare parts store (in
- out movement) and be part of the annual budget process for the KPI’s
- Ensuring (with HSE Manager support) compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directives and that regulations are implemented, while monitoring, reporting progress and results assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety
- Developing and leading the repair team to execute plan, reduce non-value-added costs while delivering repair and service kits in desired market lead time and on time with high factory, supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates

**Your background**:

- Electrical engineering/ Mechanical engineering
- 8 to 10 years of experience
- Experience in Service industry and knowledge of motors & Generators
- Enough and proven experience in assembly, commissioning, diagnostics and repairs of electrical rotating machines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English & Arabic
