Area Warranty Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **
Support, coach, and counsel all field team members in warranty related activities**
- **
Assist in warranty training sessions**
- **
Counsel dealerships on 100% completion of Field Actions prior to vehicle delivery**
- **
Communicates with engineers and technical staff to identify, report, and resolve technical issues.**
- **
Demonstrates the awareness for adding value to the Company by decreasing warranty costs.**
- **
Monitor, investigate and report product quality issues via regular communication with office & dealer's technical departments**
- **
Participate in business budget planning in line with company strategy**
- **
Subject matter expert of GM's Service Policies and Procedures and Global Warranty Management System (GWM)**
- **
Manage and respond to warranty inquires submitted by dealer warranty team.**
- **
Assisting in Field Action/Recall related questions**
- **
Manage dealer warranty rate inquiries and reviews**
- **
Set the targets, standards, and performance measures (KPIs) of the department in line with company's strategic vision and mission**
**Knowledge and Experience**:
- **
Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive business**
- **
Preferred Warranty experience**
- **
Bachelor's degree of engineering or equivalent experience**
