**Work Location: Cairo, Egypt.**
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze cost variances, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Prepare and review cost reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior management.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop cost forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the organization's inventory management processes, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
- Implement inventory control procedures and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations, addressing discrepancies and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Utilize inventory management software and systems to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.
- Participate in the development of long-term strategic plans, providing insights and recommendations on cost management and inventory control.
- Align cost and inventory strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring consistency and coherence.
- Support cross-functional teams in executing strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Lead and develop a team of cost and inventory professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular meetings with department heads and stakeholders to gather input, share insights, and drive alignment.
- Provide training and support to team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge in cost management and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to cost and inventory management.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, variances, and actionable insights.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess adherence to cost and inventory guidelines and standards.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:
**We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- More than **10 years of experience** in cost management and inventory control roles, with a** minimum of 5** **years** in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Strong understanding of cost management principles, inventory control processes, and strategic planning concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and inventory management software.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of professionals.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
