**Job Description: Business Unit Manager, Oncology, Egypt**:
**Scope**:
Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Oncology Sales & Marketing within Egypt, with a focus on driving sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence.
**Reporting Line**:
Reports directly to Egypt Country Lead.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Maximize the growth of the Oncology Business Unit in Egypt
- Develop and execute local strategies in alignment with regional business plans and brand strategies
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing Associates, to achieve performance objectives related to sales, market share, and budget targets
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the development of international strategies via active participation in the International Brand Teams (IBTs); ensure effective local implementation of global branding and tactical directions
- Optimize field force effectiveness in collaboration with the Commercial Excellence Manager
- Develop annual sales goals and budgets in partnership with the Country Lead; lead the execution of the **Country Operating Plan (COP)** for the business unit
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Manager to design and implement integrated **Medical Affairs** and **promotional strategies**
- Build and present business cases to secure additional resources or support growth opportunities beyond the existing budget
- Provide strong leadership, talent development, and succession planning across the team through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Ensure all Sales and Marketing operations are done with alignment with Amgen local SOPs
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Minimum **12** years of experience** in the pharmaceutical industry
- 2-3 years of experience in **pharmaceutical sales management**
- 2-3 years of experience in **marketing management**
- Proven track record of business success, including **product launches**
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience managing teams of a relevant size and scope is highly desirable
