**JOB TITLE**
Statutory to Tax Senior Accountant | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Finance

**ROLE SUMMARY**

The role involves supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax requirements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory mandates. It requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
**ROLE PROFILE**
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax requirements for multiple entities & countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax laws regulations in each country.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to gather financial data and supporting documentation for the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Review and validate financial data, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and local statutory/tax requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate significant fluctuations in financial statements.
- Assist in the coordination of external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Support the resolution of audit queries and provide requested information to auditors in a timely manner with a high-quality analysis.
- Put updates on changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and legal, to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial statements.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Has 3 to 6 years of Experience as an external auditor within the big 4 audit firms.
- Hold a professional accounting qualification with Dip IFRS or others.
- Experience in managing the relationship with external auditors and facilitating remote audits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
