**About the job**:
We seek a talented and experienced **Senior Accountant** to join our team. As a **Senior** Accountant** will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing critical financial analysis. The Senior Accountant will also play a key role in maintaining internal controls, supporting audits, and assisting in the development of accounting policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and supervise the finance and accounting department and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Analyse financial data and provide regular reports to senior management on the company's financial performance
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all tax laws and regulation
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including collections and disbursements.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, bankers, and other financial institutions.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
