**JOB TITLE**
Statutory to Tax Associate Manager | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Finance

**ROLE SUMMARY**
The Statutory & Tax Associate Manager leads a small team in the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements for different companies/Countries, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of statutory financial statements and taxes for multiple countries.

**ROLE PROFILE**
- Lead and manage a team responsible for preparing statutory financial statements and Tax requirements for multiple countries.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, tax, and legal teams, to gather relevant data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and validate financial data, ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the completion of statutory audits and resolve any audit queries or issues.
- Manage the relationship with external auditors remotely from the shared service center, ensuring effective communication and timely provision of requested information.
- Coordinate and prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
- Support the tax team in the preparation of tax filings and respond to tax audit requests.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience 5 -7 years as an external auditor within the Big 4 audit firms.
- A professional accounting qualification with Dip IFRS or others.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and local statutory requirements in relevant countries.
- Experience in managing the relationship with external auditors and facilitating remote audits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
