Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with at least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.


• Create and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit.


• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.


• Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.


• Perform regression, functional, and performance testing as needed.


• Continuously enhance test coverage, efficiency, and reliability of automation scripts.


• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for test automation code quality.


• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, with at least 3 years focused on test automation.


• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.


• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or similar automation tools.


• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.


• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).


• Experience in working within Agile/Scrum environments.


• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave).


• Knowledge of cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).


• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).


• ISTQB or other QA certifications.
