The QA/QC engineer:

As a Quality assurance engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional.

teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to design and

execute test plans, identify, and report defects, and verify that software meets the

specified requirements. Your primary focus will be on testing the functionality,

performance, and usability of software throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

·     Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test plans and test cases.

·     Execute test cases and document test results, identifying and reporting defects using a bug tracking system.

·     Perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.

·     Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance test efficiency and coverage.

·     Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues.

·     Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues.

·     Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input from a testing perspective.

·     Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

·     Continuously update and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

·     Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.

·     Collaborate with the team to improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

· years of experience as a Quality Assurance engineer or similar role.

·     Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

·     Experience in designing test plans, test cases, and test automation scripts.

·     Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

·     Familiarity with bug tracking systems and experience in defect management.

·     Knowledge of different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

·     Experience in test automation and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

·     Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.

·     Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·     Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

·     Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, is a plus.

·     Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
