BCI Egypt S.A.E - Job Opportunity - Quality Assurance Officer - Group Supply Chain

Location: 6th October, Giza, Egypt, On-site, Full Time

Company Description:

Baalbaki Chemical Industries (BCI) is a leading polyurethane systems and polyurethane raw material supplier in the Middle East with production facilities in UAE, Egypt, Tukiye, Italy and KSA and operations in Jordan, Nigeria and Lebanon. We produce Aromatic and Aliphatic Polyester Polyols; Isocyanate Pre-polymers; and Formulated Polyurethane Systems. BCI has integrated polyesters; bulk delivery possibilities; and a complete range of Polyurethane Systems covering applications in Insulation; Footwear; Automotive; Seating; and Adhesives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain BCI Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and the company policy
  • Investigate products or process non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective corrective actions
  • Follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to NCs vs. the planned target date
  • Conduct internal audits, participate in external audit and support certification or recertification activities
  • Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Organize a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness across departments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, list of company accreditations and product certifications
  • Comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental control procedures and instructions
  • Monitor safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory reagents
  • Report and address any potential risks during the internal audits and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, or relevant field
  • 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing or chemical industry
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and experience in internal/external audits
  • Skilled in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement
  • Proficient in English and MS Office, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
