Automation Development & Execution

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API services.
  • Build, optimize, and execute test scripts using tools such as
    Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, JUnit/TestNG, Postman/Newman
    or similar.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,
    GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
    ).

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Lead automation planning and strategy across projects.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
  • Identify quality gaps and ensure test coverage across all layers of the application.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with
    developers, product owners, Scrum Masters
    , and UX teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Guide junior testers and contribute to improving overall quality culture.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and automation dashboards.
  • Provide clear testing reports, defect logs, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Technical Skills

  • 4–7+ years of hands-on experience in
    test automation
    .
  • Strong programming skills in
    Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
    (Java preferred for fintech).
  • Expertise with automation tools:
  • Selenium WebDriver
  • Cypress or Playwright
  • Appium
    (mobile)
  • REST API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
  • Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Solid understanding of:
  • CI/CD systems
  • Version control (Git)
  • SQL & database validation
  • Testing microservices & distributed systems
