Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Civil Tendering Estimation Engineer based in 6th of October City. The role involves preparing cost estimates for civil engineering projects, analyzing project specifications, and developing tender documentation. The engineer will coordinate with the design and project management teams to ensure accurate and competitive bidding. The position also includes reviewing contractual agreements, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry and project-specific standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in cost estimation, tender preparation, and bidding processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review project specifications and develop competitive proposals.
  • Familiarity with structural and civil engineering principles, building techniques, materials, and construction standards.
  • Software proficiency in engineering and costing tools such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required; experience in tendering and estimation is preferred.
  • Relevant knowledge or experience working on projects within the Egyptian and/or global construction markets is an advantage.
