  • Establish and operationalize the ATTFUND, including systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Set and deliver annual and strategic objectives for the Fund.
  • Lead recruitment and performance management of ATTFUND personnel.
  • Serve as the face of the institution to donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Mobilize concessional funding from public and private sources.
  • Ensure effective governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Oversee the deployment of concessional and blended finance to support strategic sectors.
  • Coordinate closely with Afreximbank teams on structuring and monitoring of supported projects.
  • Lead development impact tracking and reporting for stakeholders.
  • Ensure fiduciary responsibility and alignment with contributor agreements.
  • Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Law, Engineering, or related field. A professional qualification may be accepted in lieu of a Master's degree.
  • Minimum of 15 years of senior leadership experience in African and emerging markets.
  • Proven success in resource mobilization, trust fund management, or blended finance.
  • Knowledge of concessional windows of DFIs, Africa's financial landscape, and development financing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with sovereign and non-sovereign contributors.
  • Experience establishing new institutions and managing multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strategic leadership and vision.
  • Strong financial and risk management acumen.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (knowledge of French, Arabic, or Portuguese is an added advantage).
  • Ability to travel extensively.
