About the Job
Plans, oversees, and coordinates all Quality activities and operations
, including budgeting and strategic planning for the Quality Department, Quality System Management, process control, and product assurance. Ensures customer satisfaction through effective claim management and evaluation and manages metrology and audit activities to meet established quality standards and performance targets.
Acts as a key representative of the plant's customer and management.
Responsibilities
- Has the authority to stop production in case of non-conformity
, takes appropriate decisions following the non-conforming product handling procedure, and acts as the PSCR (Product Safety and Conformity Representative). Recruits and develops a high-performing Quality team. Ensures full compliance with Quality and EHS systems, as well as corporate values, the code of conduct, and the non-disclosure agreement. - Oversees Quality System Management activities
, including managing all standards, policies, procedures, and local documentation under the Quality and Environmental Manuals. Monitors, approves, and shares document revisions in alignment with OEM standards, the Corporate Quality Management System, and customer requirements. - Supervises technical inspections
of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods to ensure conformity with established procedures, control plans, and methods. Monitors incoming non-conformity and evaluates supplier performance. - Monitors and controls process parameters
based on defined specifications (e.g., cable definitions, process instructions). Manages requests for deviations from standard process parameters. - Ensures adherence to control plans
and proper implementation of measurement and monitoring methods for cable characteristics across all production stages. Follows up on product assurance results, manages product acceptance or rejection, and oversees rework activities. Handles product deviation requests. - Leads the customer claims management process
, ensuring timely issuance of 3D and 8D reports with root cause analysis. Oversees the implementation of corrective actions to ensure high customer satisfaction. Provides proactive support during customer visits, audits, or workshops, and proposes improvement actions. Communicates customer evaluation results to relevant stakeholders and monitors follow-up actions. - Coordinates, validates, and monitors internal and external audit activities
. Tracks action plan progress and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions to ensure system integrity, process compatibility, and compliance with customer requirements. - Prepares and manages the annual Quality budget and strategic plan
. Defines, communicates, and reviews Quality KPIs in line with group objectives, and sets continuous improvement plans for processes, procedures, and systems to meet departmental and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in
Engineering - 5 years' relevant work experience in cables and/or automotive industries
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- SAP expert is a plus
