Job Purpose:

Responsible for the Purchasing activities for the assigned components\services portfolio.

Key Accountabilities:


• Set the sourcing strategy for the assigned commodities.


• Prepare annual Budget actions for the assigned commodities in contribution to the Purchasing

Budget.


• Plan and execute actions to achieve, secure and exceed the budgeted savings.


• Identify additional backup actions to recover deviation vs budget.


• Analyze the market for potential new suppliers.


• Manage the RFQs (Request for quotations) to suppliers.


• Negotiate prices and conditions with Suppliers.


• Prepare and manage the 12 Month Cost saving Activity Plan.


• Prepare and present FBS.


• Continuous market analysis to search for new potential suppliers.


• Develop and maintain a strong and reliable supplier base.


• Support IDM Purchasing Manager in his\her tasks and objectives.


• Ensure an up-to-date administration of documentation, databases and required reporting.


• Provide the organization information to\from suppliers.


• Day-to-day liaising and support of Operations team and other functions in relation to their

respective tasks.


• Lead, manage or contribute to assigned projects.


• Participate, guide and support all section employees to contribute to performing the quality,

environmental and occupational health& safety systems effectively.


• Support the role of the section to highlight its leadership on its responsibility areas for quality,

environmental and occupational health& safety systems.

Qualifications Required:

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years' experience (At least 3 years as Call of specialist).

EDUCATION: B.Sc. of mechanical engineering, commercial, or economic studie
