Accountabilities & Responsibilities

    1. Initiating and Reviewing monthly & quarterly cost evaluation and forecasting reports to management as well as analyzing cost and variances and recommending corrective actions.
    1. Analyze project Budget and identify cost elements through Creating CBS "Cost Breakdown Structure" for the project then uploading them on system.
    1. Monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project
    1. Reviewing monthly Material Wastage Reports receiving by site cost control for monitoring material wastage.
    1. Reviewing & discussing the Cost reports with the project manager and highlighting the areas of concerns that needs corrective actions.
    1. Review project control dashboard quarterly which included all project details with accurate data to help project manager take corrective or preventive actions and highlight area of concerns.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience 7–10 years of proven experience in cost control and project management within a contracting or construction company.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Solid experience in handling project life cycle from budgeting to closure.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of construction cost control methodologies and contracting industry standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems ( Oracle ).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
  • Strong capability in preparing and managing CBS (Cost Breakdown Structure).
  • Familiarity with project KPIs and dashboard reporting.

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to deal with project managers, suppliers, and cross- functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet strict deadlines.
