Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, for the position of Accounting Section Head. The Accounting Section Head will oversee accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, managing reporting processes, maintaining compliance with tax regulations, and supervising accounting team members. The role involves ensuring financial accuracy, streamlining processes, optimizing internal controls, and collaborating with other departments to support business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, financial analysis, and budgeting
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and auditing practices
  • Experience in managing accounting teams, developing workflows, and optimizing internal controls
  • Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and general ledger management
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a strong advantage
  • Experience in logistics-related financial management is a plus
