Position Overview

The Supply Chain Section Head is responsible for leading and coordinating end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and inventory control. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material availability, optimizing costs, and maintaining supply continuity to support production and business objectives in a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term supply chain strategies aligned with corporate and production objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier performance, and ensure cost-effective procurement of direct and indirect materials.
  • Negotiate contracts, and drive continuous improvement and localization strategies.
  • Mitigate risks through dual sourcing and proactive supplier relationship management.
  • Oversee inventory planning and control to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete materials.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency of material requirements planning and just in time inventory processes.
  • Lead cycle count programs and ensure compliance with company inventory policies.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective transportation and warehousing.
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in supply chain functions, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, inventory planning, and supply chain best practices.
