An innovative boutique developer is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations and contribute to their growth initiatives. The CFO will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company's construction and development projects, ensuring their financial success while driving strategic planning and decision-making.

Your role will require close collaboration with executive leadership, operational teams, and project managers to deliver accurate financial insights and drive profitability. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management activities while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies tailored to the construction and development projects
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to support operational needs
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis to inform strategic decisions and improve project profitability
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry standards
  • Establish and maintain relationships with lenders, investors, and stakeholders
  • Lead and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience within the construction and development sector
  • Strong understanding of construction finance, project costing, and risk management
  • Proven ability to drive financial performance and operational efficiencies
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
  • Experience managing financial teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and financial management systems
