Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for some remote work. The CFO will oversee all financial functions, including strategic financial planning, preparation of financial statements, and compliance with reporting standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgets, analyzing financial data to support organizational goals, and providing insights to guide decision-making processes. The CFO will collaborate closely with other leadership team members to shape the financial direction of the organization and drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Financial Planning, Financial Statements, and financial strategy development
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
  • Strong Finance knowledge and Analytical Skills for evaluating and improving organizational performance
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are an advantage
  • Significant experience in financial leadership, preferably in a startup or SME environment
  • Familiarity with the Egyptian market and its regulatory requirements is a plus
