We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a leading pharmaceutical distribution company operating under the umbrella of a well-established diversified business group. The company distributes essential pharmaceutical and healthcare products across the Egyptian market.

Work Location: Cairo - Egypt

The CFO is responsible for leading the company's financial strategy, ensuring financial stability, optimizing cash flow cycles, supporting growth, and maintaining strong governance. The role oversees financial planning, supplier and banking relationships, budgeting, investor communication, and financial compliance.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy and support executive decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning, and financial risk analysis.
  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure strong internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Optimize working capital including inventory, receivables, and payables to support a healthy cash flow cycle.
  • Manage financial relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and support supply continuity and cost efficiency.
  • Lead banking relationships, manage financing arrangements, credit facilities, and treasury activities.
  • Structure and review financial statements and ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Oversee ERP enhancement and ensure effective financial system integration (no specific system required).
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Board, investors, and senior leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance.
  • Manage investor and shareholder relations, providing transparent and strategic communication.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications strongly preferred: CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA.
  • 15+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Finance Director / CFO).
  • Mandatory: Current or recent experience in pharmaceutical distribution.

    (Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or auditing pharma distribution companies may also be considered).
  • Strong experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Proven experience in treasury management, banking relationships, and optimizing credit facilities.
  • Strong capability in budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Experience implementing or managing ERP systems (no specific system requirement).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
