Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position for a Proposal Manager located in Qesm 1st 6 October, with partial work-from-home opportunities. The Proposal Manager will be responsible for leading the proposal development process, including preparing, writing, and managing proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects. This position requires close collaboration with technical, sales, and management teams to ensure high-quality, client-focused proposals. The candidate will oversee timelines, ensure compliance with client requirements, and contribute to improving proposal templates and processes.
Qualifications
- Proven proficiency in Proposal Writing, Technical Writing, and Documentation within the water and wastewater treatment sector.
- Proven experience leading proposals for EPC / design-build projects.
- Strong understanding of treatment processes, equipment, and systems
- Strong Project Management skills, including the ability to manage deadlines, organize workflows, and multi-task effectively.
- Proficiency with Editing, Proofreading, and ensuring alignment with company branding and client expectations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and an ability to tailor proposals to meet specific client needs and technical requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Microsoft Office and project management platforms.
- Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related).
Key Resposnbilites
- Lead and manage all technical and commercial proposals and tenders.
- Develop proposal strategies based on client requirements, risk, and competitiveness.
- Coordinate inputs from engineering, process, drafting, procurement, and finance teams.
- Review and finalize technical methodologies, BOQs, and commercial offers.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, timelines, and submission standards.
- Standardize proposal templates, pricing models, and internal workflows.
- Improve proposal success rate through lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Support bid/no-bid decisions and management presentations when required.
