to join our growing team.
Your Role
As a Quality Engineer
at Orange Wave, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will oversee quality systems, perform inspections and laboratory analyses, and work closely with production and R&D teams to maintain compliance and drive improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures throughout production.
- Conduct inspections and laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with international food safety and quality standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, records, and reports.
- Support internal and external audits and assist with corrective action plans.
- Oversee calibration and maintenance of laboratory and testing equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Agricultural Sciences, or Chemical Engineering
. - (Graduates of Faculty of Science – Chemistry/Microbiology, or Faculty of Agriculture – Food Science are highly preferred.)
- 2–4 years of experience
in quality control or quality assurance, preferably within the
food and beverage industry
. - Strong understanding of
quality management systems, testing procedures, and regulatory standards
. - Experience with
HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP
, or equivalent quality frameworks. - Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills in
English
(Arabic proficiency is a plus). - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications (a Plus)
- HACCP Certification (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
- ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 – Food Safety Management Systems
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Internal Auditor for Food Safety or Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
