Job Summary:

The
Civil Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

This role oversees quality control processes, inspections, and documentation to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement
    quality assurance procedures and policies
    for civil projects.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular
    site inspections and audits
    to assess workmanship and materials.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Prepare reports on quality performance, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation of inspections, tests, and approvals.
  • Train and mentor QA/QC teams on best practices and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Civil Engineering
    or a related field.
  • 15–20 years of experience
    in civil construction quality assurance or contracting.
  • Previous experience working in a
    large consulting/engineering office
    is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of
    construction codes, standards, and inspection procedures
    .
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in documentation, reporting, and QA software tools.
