Role Description

In this full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, the Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Specialist will manage daily tasks such as handling business processes, consulting on solutions, solution architecture, and leveraging cloud computing. The specialist will work closely with different departments to ensure effective integration and utilization of Microsoft Dynamics solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize solutions in
    Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
    and
    D365 Finance & Operations
    to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain applications using
    X++
    and
    C#
    within the D365 FO environment.
  • Implement
    extensions, event handlers, and Chain of Command (CoC)
    to enhance and extend system functionality.
  • Manage
    version control, builds, and deployments
    using Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
  • Work with
    Data Entities, OData, and JSON
    for data integration and exchange.
  • Design and develop
    SSRS reports
    to support business and operational needs.
  • Configure and maintain the
    D365 FO Security Framework
    (roles, duties, privileges, XDS).
  • Support
    environment setup and deployments
    using Lifecycle Services (LCS).
  • Collaborate on
    system integrations
    using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience
    in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 Finance & Operations development.
  • Strong programming skills in
    X++
    and
    C#
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    D365 FO extensions, event handlers, and CoC
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Visual Studio
    and
    Azure DevOps
    .
  • Experience with
    SSRS
    ,
    Data Entities
    , and
    OData
    integrations.
  • Solid understanding of the
    D365 FO Security Framework
    and
    LCS
    .
  • Knowledge of
    integration technologies
    such as Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
